Literature Text

Who can say that you are good,
And I am bad?
This world isn’t black and white.
It’s all in color,
And shades of grey.

You may be a beautiful angel.
But so am I.
Who here is the worse angel?
Who here can say?

I am no horrible demon.
Born of fire.
Nor shall I return to fire.

I may be different than you.
But why do you fear me?
Is it our differences?
Or the fact that we are two sides of the same coin.
Equals.
My english professor used the phase "worse angels" in class and i just couldn't get it out of my head. i think that what i wrote can apply to alot of different prospects and veiws on the world of how people thinking they are better than others.
My philosophy professor would give me a hell of a lecture for the "relativist" message of this poem, so i just want to state that the meaning is we shouldn't point fingers at others when we ourselves are far from perfect.

I love the last set of lines. I find myself wondering that a lot and it fits me well. The wording here is beautiful. Good job!
